Use Night Off for Parents and sign in with your phone number and verification code. Set up your family, then invite the sitters you already know. If someone invited you to their family, sign in with the phone number they invited. Never share your verification code.
Use Night Off Sitters and sign in with your phone number. Connect with families you already know through an invitation. Once connected, you can share availability, respond to requests, and check your confirmed bookings.
Open Family in the Parents app and invite your partner using their phone number. They should sign in with that same number to join. An invitation being saved does not mean its text was delivered. Check the invitation status if they have not received it.
Check the phone number in Family and ask your partner whether the text arrived. If delivery is unconfirmed, check with them before resending. The family invitation has a five-minute wait between attempts; use Resend text when it becomes available. If it still fails, get help before creating more invitations.
Check the existing invitation first. For a pending sitter or sitter-to-family invitation, use its Resend option instead of adding the same person again. A saved invitation and a delivered text are different things.
No. Shared availability tells connected families when a sitter is free. A family still needs to request the time, and the sitter needs to accept. Check for the confirmed booking before counting the night as covered.
Open the request in Night Off Sitters and accept it in the app. Once accepted, the booking appears in both the family and sitter apps. If the request was already handled, refresh and check its current status.
YES applies to a posted job sent to eligible, opted-in sitters on a family’s selected list. The first eligible reply claims that job. A request made from a sitter’s shared availability is accepted in the sitter app. Always check the resulting booking status.
A request does not guarantee care. Check its current status and contact your sitters directly if you need an answer quickly. Do not assume the night is covered until the booking is confirmed.
Your family gets five free confirmed bookings in the app, with no expiry. You arrange and pay for childcare with your sitter separately. The allowance does not pay for babysitting.
A booking counts when it is confirmed. Unanswered or declined requests do not use a free booking. A confirmed booking still counts if it is cancelled later.
Membership is needed to create new requests. Requests you already sent can still be accepted. Your existing nights, sitter contacts, and cancellation controls remain available.
Membership is $8 per month or $60 per year. Plans renew until cancelled, and sitter pay is separate. Review your applicable price and terms at checkout.
Use Manage membership or update card in the Parents app when that option is available. If you have paid but access is missing, do not purchase again while the issue is being checked. Have your purchase channel and approximate purchase time ready. Never send a full card number.
They are different actions. Cancelling membership does not itself delete your account. Check the account-deletion screen before proceeding, and confirm the result of any billing change separately.
Tell us whether you use the Parents or Sitters app, your phone’s operating system, and what the screen says. Keep passwords, verification codes, payment details, and children’s information out of public comments. Use the private support contact linked on this page for account-specific help.
